Even in the Congo, where things are very third world, our Father in Heaven makes Himself known through the beauties of the earth. When you least expect it, even out in the bush, there will be a lovely flowering tree or an amazing butterfly. He always wants us to know of His Love!Remember, here in Africa, it is winter right now. In Lubumbashi, it rains for six months, every day on and off, in the wet season and then it is dry for six months.
During the wet season it is very wet and muddy and in the dry season, which it is right now, it is very dry. All of the plants and trees are covered with red dust. Since it is winter, it us about 76 degrees each day and nights get to about 48 degrees. The Congolese feel that it is really cold soooooo, I wonder what it will be like in the summer. Because it is winter, it gets dark by 6 pm and is not light until about 6:30 am. I understand that will change drastically in the summer as well.
The Savior of the world loves us infinitely and He is in charge. He continually shows us of His love in small miracles every day!
